Blue Ridge – Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Blue Ridge Cemetery for Dwight Dickson, 82 year-old retired Blue Ridge farmer who died Monday in McKinney.
The Rev. Peck Williams and the Rev. Barry Beams will conduct the services. Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Blue Ridge has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dickson was born in Tom Bean, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dickson and married Roxie Turner June 22, 1930, at Westminster.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Billy John Dickson of Blue Ridge and Jimmy Dickson of Colbert, Okla; daughter, Betty Houston of Fort Worth; brother, Jeff Dickson of Bakersville, Calf.; sister, Mrs Biggerstaff of El Paso and Mrs. Catherine McBride of Bakerfield, Calif.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
