William Washington McFall was the son of William McDaniel McFall and Lettie Selena (Belew) McFall. His wife was Cornelia Ann Amis, daughter of James and Mary (Alexander) Amis.

Their children were Joseph McFall; Laura (McFall) Wicker, wife of Thomas Martin Wicker (buried Adamsville); Mary Selena (McFall) Stratton, wife of James H. Stratton (buried IOOF Cemetery in Norman Oklahoma); Frances Louisa (McFall) Stratton, wife of Thomas H. Stratton (Jim's brother)(buried Oklahoma); George Samuel McFall, husband of Idella (Foster) McFall (1st cousin to Jim & Tom Stratton); and James Cornelius McFall.
