Donald was born November 1, 1938 in Danville, Illinois to Harold B. and Felicia Grace Wilson Page. He married Jane Ann Martin on October 24, 1964 in Danville, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are: two daughters: Lisa Ann Page of Westville, Illinois and Jennifer Jo Page of Marshalltown, Iowa; two brothers: Harold Page of Westville, Illinois and William (Linda) Page of Missouri; sister-in-law: Suzanne Page; two adopted grandchildren: Robin (Brad) Beasley and Kristen (Jon) Rhinehart; three adopted great-grandchildren: Gabriel Valdez, Annabelle Rhinehart and Kylee Jodry; one aunt: Gladys Wilson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special niece Susan Page.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brother Jerry Page.
Donald served in the US Army form 1961-1963. He was a cook at the VA for 30 years and after retiring worked as a janitor for the Westville Schools for 10 years. Don was a past commander of the Westville Legion Post 51 and past chef de garde of the 40 & 8. He was a member of the Westville First Church of Christ and enjoyed collecting pens. He helped organize the Westville Youth Football and was on the First committee of the Depot.
Private family funeral services will be held at Robison Chapel, Catlin, Illinois with Pastor John Mincy officiating with military honors accorded by the Westville American Legion Post 51. Burial in the National Cemetery, Danville, Illinois. Public visitation from 1 to 2 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Robison Chapel, Catlin, Illinois. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, face masks will be required for entry to the visitation and service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Westville First Church of Christ or the Michael J.
