James Euell "Jimmy" Fox, 71, of Abraham, W.Va., died Jan. 21, 2001, in the Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, W.Va., following a short illness.
Mr. Fox was born July 25, 1929, in Hinton, a son of Euell Emory Fox and wife K. Golda Smith Fox.
He was a 1946 graduate of Richmond High School on Pluto Road and attended Beckley College. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee. After his discharge, Mr. Fox moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked for the Denver Chicago Freight Co. before returning to Abraham, where he had resided since 1970.
