Larry was an overall outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was married to the love of his life, Charlette, for 56 wonderful years. Larry loved watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. In his past time you would find him taking care of his cows, gardening and feeding the birds. Larry enjoyed watching country westerns and spending precious time with his family.

Larry is survived by his daughters Tretha (Dean) Hewett, Twyla (Ron) Bristow, Tina Atwood, and Tricia (Slade) Dougharty; grandkids Eric (Tiffany) Hewett, and Brandon (Danielle) Hewett; great-grandkids Emma Hewett, Brinley Hewett, Katelynn Stamper, and Kyleigh Stamper; and brother Ronnie (Lana) Atwood.

Larry is preceded in death by his loving wife Charlette; and parents Earl and Mildred Atwood.

A time of visitation for Larry will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home following a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Spring Cemetery.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Dean Hewett, Slade Dougharty, Eric Hewett and Brandon Hewett.
