Ruben Robinson, 63, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. He was born on July 26, 1956 in Lee County, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Diontae McKethern and Alexious Lucan Hugley; three sisters, Mary Jo Cooper, Annie Jean Evans and Gloria Woods; two brothers, Jackie (Luvenia) Robinson and Calvin Robinson; seven grandchildren; two aunts; one uncle; a brother-in-law; a special friend; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home, 515 South 6th Street, Opelika, Alabama.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 2:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, Alabama with Rev. Johnnie Nelms, Eulogist. Arrangements entrusted to Harris Funeral Home, 515 South 6th Street, Opelika, Alabama.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19), the CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
