IDA B. NEWMAN, 91, of 159 Division St., died yesterday at Kent County Memorial Hospital, Warwick.
She was the wife of the late Irving Newman.
Born in Poland, a daughter of the late Menachem and Fannie (Olshan) Kaplan, she had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., Providence and Pawtucket before moving to East Greenwich three years ago.
Mrs. Newman was a life member of Hadassah, and a former member of Temple Emanu-El, Providence.
She is survived by two daughters, a sister, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Yetta Rothstein.
