Cassandra Denise Evans was born Saturday, December 8, 1979 to Jane Evans and the late Walter Nicholson.

Cassandra was raised in Newport News, Virginia and progressed to Hampton as an adult. She attended both Ferguson High School where she was introduced to Track and Field; at the schools closing she transferred to Warwick High School where she graduated with honors.

She attended ECPI College in Newport News, there she obtain a certificate in Computer Science and Engineering. Cassandra loved electronics. Cassandra worked various jobs to include Cox Communications to Advance Auto.

To know Cassandra was a blessing, she could make the sun shine bright on your darkest days. She was caring, warm, strong willed, stubborn at times, thoughtful and very respectful of others. She will be truly missed.

Cassandra had two beautiful children in which she loved and cared for with all of her ability. She was a loving and protective big sister, the BEST daughter/friend a mother could ever have and she was a loyal friend to the end.

God called Cassandra home on the evening of Monday, April 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jadasia Knight ? Evans, father, Walter Nicholson and grandmother, Cecelia Bowman ? Whitby.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Dean Newman (14) and Miracle Evans (14 mos), mother Jane Fauntleroy (Hampton), two brothers Raymond Fauntleroy (Hampton), Alan Stowes (Newport News), two sisters Angel and Tara Peppers of North Carolina, sister ? friends; Sharee Stowes (Hampton), Leshaunda Anthony (Hampton), Vanessa Blyden (Richmond) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Services for Ms. Evans, will be held 11:00am Monday April 20,2015 at First Baptist Church, Hampton.229 North King Street. Hampton Va. By Dr. Richard Wills. Interment will be private, per the family request.

Viewing for Ms. Evans will be held Sunday April 19,2015 from noon until 4:00.p.m. at the Funeral Home.

It is the desires of the Evans family that you keep them in your thought in Prayers.
