ABRAHAM S. WILT
Abraham S. Wilt, of Gallitzin, dies of typhoid fever at the Altoona hospital yesterday afternoon at 4:11 o'clock. He was admitted to the institution on the 9th last month. Deceased was aged 48 years and had lost both his legs. Thirty-two years ago, when he was a boy of 16, he was hopping freight and had both his legs cut off about the knees. He was a member of the Lutheran church and is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Andrew C. and Mrs. Mary Mulhurn, of Altoona; E. S. of Hollidaysburg; Mrs. Anna Snowden, of Duncansville; Mrs. Sue Treese, of Wilmore; J. F., of Lilly; Mrs. Mattie Watts, Mrs. A. T. Noll and Mrs. James Murphy, of Gallitzin. He made his home with the latter. The remains will be taken to Gallitzin and interment made at Newry. Services will be held at the Lutheran church in Newry.
