Funeral service were held for Mrs. Mary T. Hillmer at St. Peters Catholic church on September 22 with Fr. Richard Heid officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mary T. (Spieker) was born to John F. and Rosala (Kietreiber) Spieker on 1/25/1886 in Todd county and on April 26, 1904 was married to Frank X Hillmer at Long Prairie.
To this union 11 children were born. (see children listed on Frank's memorial)
Surviving brothers and sisters are Mrs. Frank Arnold, Mrs. Regina Trisco, Minnie Spieker, Rose Spieker, Mrs. Leo Quinn, John and Frank Spieker.
Mrs. Hillmer was a member of St. Peters church and the Christian Mothers. She passed away at St. Johns hospital on 9/18/1966 death due to complications of old age.
