Betty L. Johnston was born in Pueblo, Colorado on May 17, 1942 to Lee and Mary Medina. On February 12, 1961, she married Jack Sigler.
Betty was an accomplished bowler and was awarded several trophies. She enjoyed cooking, board games and gardening. She had a special appreciation for Colorado’s great outdoors and loved camping and fishing with family. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Church Parish and graduated from East High School in Pueblo, Colorado in 1960.
She will be dearly missed by her loving and adoring family; spouse; Grant Archibald and her children; Cynthia L. Messenger and Cathleen L. De Isla, her siblings; Evelyn Archuleta, William Medina and Daniel (Frances) Medina, her grandchildren; Moranda Rozzell, William Messenger and Nicole De Islan, her great-grandchildren; Kobey Messenger, Zane Stowe, Ethan Rozzell, Alicia Cordova, Isabella Messenger, Angelina Messenger, Olivia Messenger and Anthony Castillo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee ad Mary Medina.
A Catholic rosary will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by a Catholic memorial service on August 3, 2020 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Inurnment will be at Shrine of Remembrance, Song of Mary Columbarium directly after the service.
