Born in Westminster, he was a son of the late William Doyle and Belva Driver Moore. A U.S. Army/Air Force veteran, he retired as the owner and operator of Specialty Contracting Company after twenty-four years, and he was a mason.
He is survived by a son, Philip Scott Moore of Piedmont; and grandson, Brandon Tyler Moore (Kathryn) of Williamston. He was predeceased by a brother, Harold Moore.
A memorial service will be held at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680, in his memory.
