A graveside service will be held to celebrate the life of Dorothy Marie Parker at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Dorothy was born on January 1, 1928 in Bossier City, LA and went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2021 in Shreveport, LA.

She was an outdoors enthusiast. She loved her horses; she was a "tom-boy" at heart. Dorothy enjoyed hunting and fishing with the love of her life, her husband Ralph. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church as long as her health allowed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Athos and Haydee Guillot; husband, Ralph Parker, Sr.; grandson, Ralph Parker, III; sisters, Maxine Keeling and Bobbie Groves and brother, Athos Guillot, Jr.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Jackie Sue Seegers, Ralph Parker, Jr. and wife Karen, Randy Parker and wife Gail and Dee Marie Rinaudo and husband Pete; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin L. Parker, Cody L. Parker, Joel Smith, Rick Keeling, Paul Parker and Phillip Roppolo.

The family would like to thank Heritage Manor West and Life Path Hospice for the comfort and care they gave Mrs. Parker.
