Kathryn (Kate) Marlene Sutton (July 12, 1934 - July 15, 2020) passed away peacefully at home of natural causes. Kate was born and raised in South Dakota. She was one of five daughters (Patty, Peggy, Kate, Joanne, Virginia) born to the late Arthur Moshier and Effie Pavek and beloved wife for 61 years to Quinion Sutton who passed in 2010 Quin and Kate raised their family in Woodinville where they were active members of the community from 1958 to 1975. They moved to Tonasket, WA in 1975 where Kate worked as a nurse for 20 years at the local hospital. Quin and Kate restored old cars and spent time woodworking and traveling. Kate's great loves were singing and reading. After retiring they spent many years traveling until they settled in Moses Lake, WA where Quinion passed in 2010. Kate then spent time with each of her children settling in Montana with her granddaughter Toni Wright. Kate will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey (Susan) Sutton, Marjory Sutton-Rechcygl (passed in 1989), Deborah Colbert, Barbara (Douglas) Buch, and Patrick (Beth) Sutton, along with 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service July 28th, 2020 at Purdy & Walters Funeral home in Lynnwood, WA, where she will be laid to rest near her husband Quinion and daughter, Marjory.
