Mrs. Mary Metz, 238 Cornwall street, a resident of the Regina district for 43 years, died in Moose Jaw Saturday. She was 80.
Mrs. Metz was born and educated in Iowa. In 1908 she married Mathias Metz, and the coupled moved to a farm in the Regina district in 1911. Between 1929 and 1925 they lived in Wilcox where they ran an implement business. In 1925 they returned to the farm. The couple retired in Regina in 1947. Mr. Metz died in 1950.
She is survived by three sons, John, 328 Cornwall street; Mattie, California; and Andrew, Denver, Colorado; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held in the Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic church Tuesday at 9 a.m. with Rev. M. F. Daley officiating. Burial will be in Regina Cemetery.
