Martha McDonald, longtime resident of Farmington Hills, entered into eternal life, July 30, 2020, surrounded by friends and family and her loving dedicated caregiver Tammy Bryan.
Martha was a woman of strong faith and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish for 65 years. She was married to the love of her life, Jesse for 70 wonderful years. Martha was born in Detroit, October 16, 1926, the daughter of the late George and Alice Kremer. She attended Visitation High School, graduating in 1944.
Martha was dedicated wife and mother. Raising her children was Martha’s lifelong dream having stated many times she couldn’t imagine anything better. She was known for her razor-sharp memory, recalling even the button color of the dress she wore on her first date with her soon to be husband, Jesse. Martha was loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; son, Curtis; daughters in law, Marge and Susan.
Martha is the loving mother of Brian (Susan), Randy, Gordon, Thomas (Crystal); beloved grandmother of David, Michael, Haley, Corrin and Ian.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 7, 1 pm (in state 12:30 pm) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd, Farmington, MI.
Her burial will take place Monday, August 10, 10 am at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI, with her husband, Jesse.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests donations to be made to Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Detroit, MI.
