He was a long-time member and active Sunday School teacher at Scottsville Christian Church in Floyds Knobs. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and gardening, and was especially proud of his roses he grew. He was a sports enthusiast, avid IU fan and enjoyed playing cards.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn (Shephard) Scott; brother, Gary Scott (Rhonda); niece and nephews, Paul (Nichole), Lawrence (Melissa), Lynette (Jeremy); aunt, Mary Ellen Gray; as well as many cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Masonic service taking place at 7:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Salem Cemetery in Cross Plains, Indiana.
