Kevin B. Peters, age 64, of Durant, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at UnityPoint Health Trinity-Rock Island in Rock Island, Illinois.

Kevin has been cremated and his ashes entrusted to his family. There will be no visitation or funeral services.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, at Idle Hour Lanes in Durant.

Kevin Bernhart Peters was born February 16, 1956, in Calamus, the son of Lester Vern and Alice Adrian (Balkens) Peters. He graduated from Calamus High School with the Class of 1974. He married Sue Cavillo and were later divorced. He was employe at Brammer Manufacturing in Davenport for over twenty years. He later worked for QCA Pool and Spa's as a Spa Technician. He enjoyed playing darts, playing pool, watching movies and had an impressive movie collection. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

Surviving are two sisters, Judy Weiss of DeWitt and Jolene (Kent) Petersen of Delmar; two brothers, Lester Peters, Jr., of Calamus and Scott (Robin DeKeuninck) Peters of Durant; several nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife, Sue Cavillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one nephew and one brother in-law, Gerald Weiss.
