Leonard D. Hall age 46, passed away unexpectedly due to health complications, on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. He was born on April 18, 1974, in Lancaster, the son of Charles and Delores (Purkapile) Hall. Lenny was born with nonverbal autism, but he communicated in his own way and touched the lives of all who knew him. He attended the Southwest Opportunities Center in Lancaster. In August of 2018, he went to live at the M&M Group Home in Platteville.
Lenny is survived by his mother, Delores Hall, Lancaster; a sister, Lisa Rauch, Cassville; a nephew, Andrew (Megan) Landon; a niece, Abbey (Bryan Bartels) Rauch; 3 great-nieces: Angel and Aubree Landon and Aurora Bartels; 1 great-nephew, Ryder Landon; his caregivers, Marvin and Madeline Flogel.
In addition to his father Charles, Lenny was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a brother-in-law, Charles Rauch.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 12:00 noon at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
