HUTCHINSON — Nancy JoAnn Albin, 67, Hutchinson, formerly of Beloit, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007.

Mrs. Albin was born Nancy JoAnn Bell on March 11, 1939, in Salina. She graduated from Salina High School in 1956 and attended Marymount College. She was a homemaker and para-educator with Reno County Education COOP. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a Hutchinson Zoo volunteer. She married Pastor Robert LeRoy Albin on July 12, 1959, in Salina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Leslie and Genevieve Kathryn (Wilvers) Bell; a son, Timothy C.; and an infant sister, Mary Kathryn Bell.

Survivors include her husband, Robert LeRoy; a son, Stephen P. and fiancee Tonia Soldan of Salina; four daughters, JoAnn A. Jordan and husband Dr. Jeff of Hays, Muriel J. Morris and husband Randy of Salina, Sara J. Redetzke and husband A.J. of Manhattan and Heather D. Albin and fiance Jeremy Caudillo of Hutchinson; a family friend, David Pilcher of Hutchinson; a brother, Paul L. Bell and wife Barbara of Leawood; two sisters, Karen S. Levin and husband Charles of Salina and Pamela L. Strahan and husband John of Topeka; two aunts, Margaret Hoeffner and Maurine DeWar, both of Salina; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Pastor Henry Hartman and the Rev. Michael P. Milliken officiating. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Highland Cemetery, New Cambria.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hutchinson Zoo or a charity of the donor's choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary,
1219 N. Main, Hutchinson 67501.

Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at the mortuary.
