Margaret Louise Bailes-Hicks of Craigsville, Nicholas County, WV passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Harper Mills in Beckley. She worked at BF Goodrich in Richwood for many years. Margaret loved to cook and can, and was very good at it. She will be missed by friends and family.

Born September 21, 1941 in Richwood, WV she was the daughter of the late James Evermont Bailes (1903-1969) and Vida Virginia Foster-Bailes (1904-1960). She was preceded in death by her late husband, R. Gene Hicks (Deceased); three brothers, Howard E. Bailes (Deceased), Charles William Bailes (1933-2018), and Henry Bailes (Deceased); two sisters, Glenna Bailes-Tincher (Deceased), and Bonnie June Bailes (1947-1954).

Survivors include her siblings, Elizabeth Bailes-Keene-Weibly of PA, James W. Webb, and Junior of Nettie, and Nelson Bailes of Craigsville; and her close friends, Angela Keiffer & husband James Keiffer & their children.

At this time, there will be no graveside service.
