Mrs. Gray was born December 4, 1949 at Fort Benning, Georgia.
She was a homemaker and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Phenix City, Alabama. Mrs. Gray enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids play Little League Baseball. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and spending time with both her cats and dogs. More than anything, Mrs. Gray loved her family and looked forward to spending quality time with them. The family remembers her as a lady who was always loving, friendly, and thoughtful to everyone.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patton; two sisters, Eleanor Martin and Sheila Austin; and one brother, Jay.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry “Buddy” Gray of Phenix City, Alabama; one daughter, Connie Gray of Phenix City, Alabama; two sons, Michael (Joy) Gray and Ronald “Ronnie” (Jennifer Boutwell) Gray, all of Phenix City; one brother, Absalom Shreves, Jr. of Phenix City;
