Survivors include three sons, Francis Barker, Jr. of Carencro, Carl Xavier Barker and his wife, Roxanne, of Youngsville, and Jerome Barker and his wife, Janet, Seattle, WA; seven daughters, Laura Faulk and her husband, Sidney, Agatha Broussard and her husband, Rodney, Linda Francis, and Charlotte Ard and her husband, Leroy, all of Lafayette; Elizabeth Barker, Ida J. Barker and Pamela Barker, all of Grand Coteau; twenty-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, James L. Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; and one sister, Mildred Rubin of Port Arthur, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Barker, Sr.; her parents, Clement Smith and mother the former Laura Mayfield, both natives of St. Landry Parish; and two brothers, Peter Smith and Joseph C. Smith.
