Harvey E. Daves, 82, retired merchant from Winona, died Tuesday, March 18, 1986, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services were conducted from Lee Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. The Rev. Dr. Jerry Mixon preached services and burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Arlin Daves of Winona; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Branning of Vicksburg, Mrs. Patsy Funches of Raymond, N.H. and Mrs. Faye Dudley of Austin; a son, Jimmy E. Daves of Canton; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Yarbrough of Biloxi and Mrs. Vera Trussell of Winona; a brother, B.C. Daves of Batesville; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bill Graves, Dennis Kelly, Sam Pearson, Robert Hammond, Aubrey Boone, Jack Marshall, Joe Hardin, Ben Tharp and Bob Eldridge. Lee Funeral Home handled arrangements.
