Professional Football Player. For ten seasons (1966 to 1975), he played at the tackle position in the National Football League with the New York Giants. Born William Joseph Lull Young, he attended Lincoln High School in Louisiana, prior to playing collegiate football at Grambling State University under legendary head coach Eddie Robinson. Signed by the New York Giants as a non drafted player in 1966, he totaled 135 career regular season games. His son Rodney Young was also an NFL player (defensive back) with the New York Giants.
