She was united in marriage to Paul Fisher on September 11, 1956 at Van Buren, Missouri, and to this union four children were born.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Rhoda Voyles; six half-brothers, Vane Voyles, Leonard Voyles, Tommy Voyles, Richard VanWinkle, Robert VanWinkle, and Elmer VanWinkle; one sister, Virginia Voyles; and half-sister, Reva Williams.
Ellen is survived by two sons, Gary Fisher and wife, Kerry of Winona, MO and William Paul “Bill” Fisher and wife, Angie of Winona, MO; two daughters, Brenda Chaney and husband, Danny of Birch Tree, MO and Linda Youngblood and husband, Hank of Winona, MO; fourteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and sister, Viola Weaver of Winona, MO.
Ellen was a wonderful cook; her chicken and dumplings and biscuits were a family favorite. She enjoyed reading her Bible and going to church. She loved her dogs, collecting angels, and yard sales. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Yarber Mortuary in Winona, Missouri with Bro. Rodney Fisher officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment was in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Winona, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
