Dennis William Long, 66, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital following a battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Elkhart, Dennis was born on October 19, 1953. He graduated from Elkhart High School. His mother Marilyn R. (Masten) Long preceded him in death in May of 2008. Dennis formerly worked at the Kent Company. Dennis has no known family members surviving; Dennis does have friends he grew up with, friends he hung around with, friends from when he worked and neighbors who survive him. Graveside services for Dennis will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Rice Cemetery. He will be laid to rest next to his mother.
