FUNERAL SERVICES. Milton P. Lawler. The funeral of Milton P. Lawler who passed away on Sunday, was held yesterday from the chapel of Barton Shaw. The deceased has a brother in Oregon. Rev. Mark B. Shaw officiated at the funeral of the departed man who was a stranger ln San Bernardino and the Interment was in the Mountain View cemetery.

Charles Lawler received the sad news this week of the death of his brother, M. P. Lawler, in San Bernardino, Cal. He left Freewater about two months ago and this is the first time his friends have received any information about him since his departure. No particulars have been received as yet as to the cause of his death, and the friends are anxiously awaiting details. Mr. Lawler has been a resident of this section all his life until two years ago when he went to Kameia(?) where he was engaged in the wood business. He was born May, 1852 and leaves a father, one sister and four brothers to mourn his loss.
