Jacob Allen Miller, 43, of Mount Storm, WV, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.
Born April 1, 1977, in Oakland, MD, he was the son of Gail Marie (Lee) Paugh, Oakland; and the late John Marlin Miller. He was also preceded in death by a son, Tevin Ray Miller; one brother, Maxie Lorine Weese, Jr.; his stepfather, Leonard Ralph Paugh, Jr.; grandmother, Frances M. Lee.
Jacob was a truck driver for Savage Services. He enjoyed riding side by sides with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tanya Lynn (Abernathy) Miller; one son, Brandon Austin Miller, Bayard, WV; four brothers, Thomas R. Miller and John J. Miller, Jr., both of Dover, TN; Jason S. Paugh, Oakland; Stacy L. Paugh, Swanton, MD; three sisters, Eissie D. Swick, Philippi, WV; Ann M. Walden, Cumberland, MD; Ginger R. Paugh, Deer Park, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD, 21550, on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 31, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Samuel Moon officiating. Interment will be in the Bayard Cemetery.
