Of Huron, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 after a lengthy illness in Admiral's Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation.

She was born on April 10, 1943 in Muskegon, MI to the late Frederic and Louise (Shindler) Grimm. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1961, the University of Iowa in 1966, where she earned her B.A. in textiles and interior design, and Michigan State University in 1972, where she earned her M.A. from the College of Human Ecology and Education. She was a book buyer for the former Carson, Peri, Scott & Co. in Chicago, was a home economics teacher in Fremont, MI, worked summers in clothing alteration, and was a substitute teacher in WI, PA, OH, and MI.

Always talented, she made all of her own clothes in high school. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, bowling, golf, and skiing. Louise and her husband, Ed, have been Erie County residents since 1995. She loved swimming and taught water aerobics at the Sandusky YMCA. She also loved to travel; taking cruises with her family to Alaska, the Caribbean, the Baltic Sea, and New England; car trips along the Oregon Trail and to Yellowstone; western ski trips; their condo in Seven Springs; and international travel through Europe, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. Louise volunteered at Care & Share, the State Theater, and was a Girl Scout Leader in Westlake, OH. She was a devoted mother, swim team mother, extremely well organized, loved teaching and helping others, and was generous with her time. She was involved in the social committee, choir, bereavement committee, and prayer group, all at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Sandusky until she joined St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron for health reasons.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Edward A. Hall, whom she married on November 10, 1973; daughter, Kelly Louise (Andrew) Honse, of Bluffton, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth Louise, Anna May, and Ethan Andrew Honse, all at home in Bluffton; sister, Mary "Chris" Christine (Tom) Mallory, of Whitehall, MI; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frederic and John Grimm.
