Teresa was born in La Mirada, California to Andrew John "Andy" DiMauro and Rose Ruma. She graduated from Mercy High School in Omaha, Nebraska in 1982.

Teresa was married to Phillip "Flip" Sullivan on May 21, 1988, in Omaha, and they had four children. She later divorced him.

Teresa was a member of the Santa Lucia Festival Committee.

Teresa died of cancer when she was only 56 years old.

Survived by daughter Erin; sons Matt (Justine), Connor and Chandler; grandchildren Haley, Sam and Ryan; mother Rose DiMauro; brother Sam (Rhonda) DiMauro; other relatives and close friends. VISITATION: Thursday, 2-4pm, at the funeral home and then at Holy Cross Catholic Church (48th and Woolworth) beginning at 6:15pm with Vigil Service 7:30pm at the church. FUNERAL MASS: Friday, 11am, Holy Cross Church. Private family interment.
