Richard was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 14th, 1953, son of the late Arnold Morrow and Opal Mitchell Morrow. He was a member of the Old Fashion Faith Church of Somerset and liked to mow yards, work on cars, attend Church, cleaning the Church, listening to gospel music, and cherished spending time with his family most of all.
Richard was survived by one son, Richard Travis Morrow; one daughter, Amy Green; one brother, Russell Morrow; one sister, Charlene Hall; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Morrow, who departed this life on April 20th, 1969 and Opal Morrow, who departed this life on December 5th, 2012; one brother, Howard Lee Morrow; and five sisters, Mary Preston, Eutta Phelps, Mattie Williams, Bernice Childers, and Judy Polston.
Visitations were held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Rudy Branscum officiating.
Burial followed in the Morrow Family Cemetery in Wayne County, Kentucky.
