Suggested edit: Kenneth James Anton, 70, of Cooperstown, passed away on Saturday July 25, 2020 in his home.

Ken was born January 16, 1950 to Lillian (Zimprich) and Raymond Anton. He started school at a small country school house outside of Cooperstown and graduated from Cooperstown High School in 1968. Ken served in the US Military and drove heavy machinery for the Army while stationed in Germany.

He married Cindy Westfall on July 26, 1980 and they had two daughters: Valen and Stephanie. He owned his own service, tow truck, and gas station called Ken's Service for nearly 30 years. He was well known in the community for always being willing to lend a hand when needed. Ken attended church regularly and was also an avid golfer, hunter, and Nascar watcher.

Ken is preceded in death by his mother: Lillian; his father: Raymond; and his sister: Beverly.

Ken is survived by his wife: Cindy; daughters: Valen and Stephanie (Tayler) Michel; brother: Larry (Cheryl); and his grandchildren: Austin and Aubrey.

Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Anton, Austin Ryba, Don Zimprich, Russ Zimprich, Emery Jackson, Rick Cushman and Wayne Iverson.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the Community of Cooperstown, Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Trinity Lutheran Church, Hospice and all of Ken's friends and extended family.
