Brenda Kay Akers Price, 62, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Best Care Nursing Center in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Brenda was born July 27, 1957, in Ironton, Ohio; a daughter of the late Frank and Emma Wright Akers.
She is preceded in death by:
brother: Ricky Akers
three sisters, Tina Akers, Loretta Carmon and Alberta Wilson.
Brenda is survived by:
son: Douglas Price, Jr. of South Point
daughter: Alicia Price of South Point
three brothers: Bill (Jeanie) Akers, Dale Akers, all of Ironton and Mike (Marcie) Akers of Kentucky
four sisters: Cathy (Doug) Clark of Ironton, Dorothy (Bobby) Johnson of South Point, Margie Hayes of Ironton and Beverly (Dave) Taylor of Columbus
three grandchildren that she loved dearly: Xavier, Shelby and Kirsten
sister-in-law: Marie Akers of Ironton
brother-in-law: Dallas Carmon, Sr. of Ironton
She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her
Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Shirley Kearns officiating.
