Vernon W. Price died April 3, 2017. Born to Myrtle and Vernon Price on May 26, 1934, he married Noreen Kinnunen on September 8, 1954. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Luella; his parents; a brother, Edward; his sisters, Lucille and Phyllis; a granddaughter, Heather Kemp and a great-granddaughter, Mya Race. He is survived by his wife, Noreen; a sister, Betty Boeldt; his children, Bill, Katherine (Richard) and Doug (Lori); his grandchildren, Michael (Sharae) Race, Jenna (Roman) Warrick, Stevie Price, Kacey, Sueann and Kole. His great-grandchildren include Tony, Gracie, Katrina, Issac, Isabelle, Alex, Mirai and AJ as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Price graduated from Valders High School (Wisconsin) in 1952, joined the Air Force in 1952 and then worked with the Beloit Corporation from 1956-1997. Upon retirement, he moved to Montgomery in August of 1997. He loved golfing, watching baseball games, Packers football and Badger basketball. He was a great kidder and always had a plan “B” for any activity. All this but his greatest accomplishment can be summed up as “a loving husband for 61 years.”
