LEXINGTON- Margaret D. Walters, 82, widow of Aubrey Darrell Walters, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018. She was born in Hulen, Kentucky on August 7, 1936 to the late James Franklin and Bethan Simpson Dorton. Ms. Walters was a retired Registered Nurse for the University Of Kentucky Medical Center. She attended Highcrest Baptist Church, Liberty Road Community and Liberty Faith Fellowship. Ms. Walters is survived by her daughter, LeighAnn (Tommy) Fitzpatrick, Georgetown; her son, Aubrey Darrell (Debra) Walters, II, Lexington; her sister, Betty Lee Dick, MI; her grandchildren, J.T., Connor and Darian Fitzpatrick; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Sherilda D. Miracle, Callie Wilder, Caroline Saylor, Ruth Marie Tipton, Otis Dorton, Fred H. Dorton, James Edward Dorton, A.B. Dorton and William Dorton. A Celebration of Life will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 4:00 PM until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
