Dennis R. Edwards, 64, of LaGrange, formerly of Lorain passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 after a brief illness.
Mr. Edwards was born in Lorain on June 14, 1956, the son of the late Wilber A. and Evelyn A (nee Wryst) Edwards. He was a graduate of Lorain's Admiral King High School in the class of 1974.
In 2008, He retired as a mold yard engine operator at USS Steel in Lorain following 29 years of service.
Mr. Edwards was a member of the Slovak Club. He loved life and had various hobbies and interests; primarily his interest surrounded cars, He volunteered at US Steel Learning Center for Cars, considered himself a motor head, liked attending car shows, collected and loved car related memorabilia. Most of all, he loved his 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby.
He enjoyed 1960-70's music, eating homemade food, baking cookies, and yard work using his zero turn lawn mower. He enjoyed vacationing.
Dennis will always be remembered for wearing his favorite outfit; a white tee shirt and blue jeans, along with his white skechers shoes.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kimberly A. (nee Whitaker) Edwards, sisters Joyce A. (Edward) Edwards-Seymore of Carlisle Township, Deborah J. (Jose) Alicea of Lorain and his beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Alan Edwards and his sisters Marlene Keener.
