Sadie Leo Robinson, 93, Leavenworth, peacefully departed this world Sunday, July 19, 2020, at her home. She was born May 6, 1927, in Hume, Virginia, the daughter of Mary Brooks and Lorenzo Roberts.

After completing high school, Mary relocated to Leavenworth while serving as a nanny for a military family.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Glenn Robinson on July 4, 1947. Glenn and Sadie bore four children.

Sadie was a devoted member of Independent Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a woman of great wisdom with a passion for serving others. She served in many capacities, some were trustee, president of usher ministry and a member of the culinary ministry.

She was employed at the VA hospital for 30 years where she received numerous awards and acclamations regarding her work performance, dedication and commitment to her patients.

She leaves cherished memories with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends over the years.

There will be no services at this time. Arrangements in care of R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
