Steven Brent Wise of Plano, Texas passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 56. He was born on September 15, 1963 in Abilene, Texas. Steve was a graduate of Mabank High School, Mabank, Texas in 1981. On January 1, 1985 Steve entered the ARMY National Guard where he served through May 1990. During this time, he also attended the Fire Academy and became a Dallas Fire Fighter on July 10, 1985 serving on various Dallas Fire Stations including Stations 15, 45, 44, and 13. On February 4, 2020, after 35 years of service and obtaining the status of Driver Engineer, Steve retired.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Everingham Wise and father, Mikel Wise both of McAllen, Texas; children, Elizabeth Seelbach and husband, Roger of Fort Worth, Texas, Tyler Wise of Sanford, North Carolina, and Lori Wise of Tyler, Texas; grandchildren, Carson and Blakely; and numerous other loving family and friends.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Steve and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can listen through the designated FM radio channel: 92.7 FM.
