Mrs. Kathleen A. Parker
January 8, 1935 - July 23, 2020
Mrs. Kathleen A. Parker, age 85, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Robertsdale, AL passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. Mrs. Parker was snack bar manager, a crossing guard, bus driver and had several other "jobs" at Robertsdale High School. After retiring, she became a passionate volunteer at Save-A-Life and focused on missions. She and her late husband, made 14 trips mission trips to Moldova and Romania. She was given the Pioneer Award for her mission work and through Roads of Hope, Mrs. Parker funded a home for orphaned children in Moldova. A life long member of the Robertsdale First Baptist Church, Mrs. Parker touched many lives near and far. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Parker, Sr. and son, Claude. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Duck (Pat); three sons, Arthur Parker, Jr. (Cindy), Karl Parker (Janine), Mike Harrub;eight grandchildren, Tracy, Tricia, Terri, Amanda, Adam, Annie, Kyle, Ashton and eight great grandchildren, J P, Tucker, Hayes, Addy, Corbett, Jack, Wes and Britleigh. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Robertsdale First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Copeland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Women's Care Medical Center, 18555 Caroline Street, Robertsdale, AL 36567 or to the Robertsdale First Baptist Church Body of Christ, P. O. Box 1140, Robertsdale, AL 36567.
