Keith James “Speedy” Lambert, age 73 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at UP Health System, Marquette, MI.

He was born December 31, 1943 in L’Anse, MI son of Hector “Pud” and Millicent “Millie” (Mattson) Lambert. Keith graduated from L’Anse High School in 1963. He then went into the US Army from September 1963-August 1966; during the Vietnam war. Keith married Anne LaTendresse on April 8, 1967 in Baraga. He worked at Celotex prior to the DNR, where he was a heavy equipment operator for 22 years, retiring in 1988 due to health reasons.

Keith was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and lifetime member of the VFW Post 3897. He enjoyed woodworking, knife making, gun collecting, automotive car restoration, tractors, hunting, fishing, and traveling.

Surviving are his wife Anne of L’Anse; sons, Creig Lambert of Ishpeming, MI, Brian (Mandy) Lambert of L’Anse; sister, Sharon Chenoweth of L’Anse; grandchildren, Katelyn Lambert, Luke Lambert, and Madison Lambert.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother Louis Lambert; sisters, Jaqueline Osterman and Linda Borgan.

There will be no funeral services per his request. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
