Funeral services for Enos Gwinn, 85, of Piney View, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Mondy in the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery at Abraham.
He died Saturday at 1 p.m. in a local hospital following a long illness.
Born Dec. 25, 1884 at Sandstone, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sherry Fox Gwinn.
A retired railroad employee, he was a member of the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include a foster son, Harold Plumley of Cleveland, Ohio and two daughters, Mrs. Gerana Bowling of Piney View and Mrs. Balla Callison of Charleston; a brother, Stanford Gwinn of Flat Woods, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Dish Chinn of Columbus, Ohio and a grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
