YORK - Madeline (Heindel) Bortner, 88, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late David C. Bortner.
Following cremation, graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Shaffer's Church Cemetery, Shaffer Road, off of Shaffer's Church Road, Seven Valleys.
Mrs. Bortner was born in Glen Rock, on March 29, 1919, daughter of the late Paul and Myrtle V. (Markel) Heindel.
She leaves cousins and friends.
