George Wiley “G.W.” Lambert, Jr., 71, passed away Saturday, July 25 2020. G.W. was born in Wake County to George Wiley Lambert, Sr. and the late Lucille Strickland Lambert. He honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. G.W. retired from CBRE Property Management where he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Williams Lambert; son, Brian Lambert; father, George Wiley Lambert, Sr.; siblings: Richard Lambert (Deborah), Al Lambert (Janet), Johnny Lambert (Patsy), Luchelle Haden (Steve); in-laws: Kirby Williams (Melissa), Beverly Strickland (Frank), Christi Gay (Robby); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597. The family will receive relatives and friends at their home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middlesex Free Will Baptist Children’s Home, Post Office Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557.
