He is honored with a Purple Heart, Good Combat Ribbon, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, American Campaign Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.
