Janice Thomas Parks age 64 of Lenoir City passed away July 25, 2020.

She attended the Church of God and Calvary Baptist Church.

Jan was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She worked for many years in the Lenoir City School System Central Office.

Jan loved music, reading and being at the beach.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert C. and Nina Jo Thomas; brother, Bobby Thomas and father of her sons, Gary Parks.

She is survived by her sons, Jacob Parks and Patrick Parks; grandson Gabriel Parks; sisters, Phyllis, Karon and Paula.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 27th at funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Jan's nephew, Reverend John Forsythe officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 11 a.m. graveside services.
