David E. Glenn, 82, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday July 26, 2020 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born February 2, 1938 in Tell City, IN, son of the late Charles L. Glenn and Mildred (Schauberger) Glenn.
He served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
David worked as a School Administrator for South Dearborn School Corporation, retiring after over 33 years of service.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the AuroraAmerican Legion Post 231 .
David graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's of Science, a Master's and EdS in Education. He enjoyed traveling, and had visited all 50 states and over 20 countries.
David is survived by his loving spouse of 59 years Jemma Glenn (Hermann), daughters, Debbie (Steve) Huffman of Aurora, IN, Cindy (Mike) Vogt of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren, Lindsay Huffman, Katelyn Huffman, Sam Vogt, Nick Vogt; brothers, Paul (Ina) Glenn of Georgetown, TX, Craig (Donna) Glenn of Charlotte, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received Friday, July 31, 2020, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 203 Fourth Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm with Father Ben Syberg officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.
