Jason Edward Gray died May 10, 2020 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia surrounded by his wife Cathy and his daughter Jennifer. He was born July 1, 1944 in Orlando, Florida and grew up in Winter Garden, Florida. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1962 and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of US Air Commandos. Jason worked for IRS in Atlanta, Georgia as a Computer Room technician before transferring to the IRS Computer Programming Group in Washington, DC in 1976 where he met his future wife Cathy. They were married in 1980. He worked his way up to Computer Specialist at IRS, before leaving to become a self-employed software engineer. He enjoyed cooking, reading, swapping tales with his buddies, tinkering with computers at home, feeding the squirrels in his backyard, watching old movies on TV, and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of Amvets. He is survived by his wife Cathy (Coupe) Gray, daughter Jennifer Gray, sister Donna (Carmine) Scudero, and nephews Michael Gentile, Matthew Gentile, and Stephen Gentile and their families. He was preceded in death by his father Charlie James Gray, mother Mary Jane (Chamberlain) Gray, and brother Gereon James Gray.
