Suzanne Burns Albert, 81, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at Crouse after a short illness. She was a life resident of Syracuse. Sue graduated from St. Anthony's High School and later Le Moyne College. She retired in 1996 from the Onondaga County Dept. of Child Services after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Choirs of Cathedral Church and Our Lady of Solace Church and also sang with the Ecumenical Choir for many years. Sue was a avid bridge player, playing several times a week. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1995.
Suzanne is survived by a son, John M. Albert, of Seattle, WA; a daughter, Mary C. (Dan) Robertson, of Haddon Township, N.J.; a brother, Michael Burns, of Manlius; four grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday in Cathedral Church, Downtown. Calling hours are Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Gang Memorial Chapel, 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave. If you wish to send flowers or a note of condolence, please visit gangmemorial.com.
