Gary Thomas Dean, Sr. born on July 9, 1956, passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 64.

Gary was born in Houston Texas. He graduated from Spring Branch High School, and then he attended Houston Community College where he graduated in 1977, from the Fire Academy. Gary retired after he served 25 years as a dedicated Houston Fire Fighter. He also was a taxidermist for 20 years.

Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and he could smoke a mean brisket! Gary never met a stranger. Gary would help anyone in need. He loved talking for hours about the good ole’ days surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a wonderful sense of humor and his smile and laughter will forever be missed by all who knew him. His work here on earth is done. Now he goes to be with Jesus.

Gary is preceded by death by his parents, Benolye Dean and Douglas Dean, grandparents, Esther and Harry Mikeska, sister, Karen Berckenhoff.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Angeline Kincannon, Son-in-law, Kraig Kincannon and their three children, Chase, Karson and Korley. Daughter, Jennifer Childers, son-in-law Seth Childers and their three children, Jameel, Laila and Kennedy. His son, Gary Thomas Dean Junior, daughter-in-law, Anna Dean, Grandson, Jack Dean. His sister, Kathie Wallace, his brother, Butch (Douglas Dean) sister-in-law, Ginger Dean and brother-in-law, David Berckenhoff. Also, nephews, nieces, cousins.

Pallbearers: Douglas Dean, Randy Noviskie, Leonard Mikeska, Gary Dean, Junior, Seth Childers and Kraig Kincannon.

Honorary pallbearers: grandchildren: Chase Kincannon, Karson Kincannon, Jameel Brooks. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas on Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm,

A Graveside service will be held at National Cemetery in Nelsonville, Texas, on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 11:00am with interment following.
